Showing character through song and dance

Last week we had a session with Chloe to help us show our character through song and dance and the second years took part as well. We used the song 'hit the road jack' as we can use loads of different types of characters to act out whilst singing. We started off by just learning the song, then Chloe separated boys and girls and made us make two lines facing each other and we had to sing to the person across from us. I found this very good because it helped with confidence too.

 

 

    By doing this task there was so much energy and confidence in the room. Chloe told us we need to use this in our performances to help us make it a lot better. This task really helped and boosted me.
